“East Water” Strengthens Confidence, Begins Supplying Water to Data Centers in Chonburi

“East Water” has announced the commencement of water supply services to BDC in Chonburi Province, reinforcing its role as a “Water Security Solution” provider in Thailand’s Eastern region while supporting the digital economy, global investment, and sustainable national economic growth.

Most recently, the East Water Group, through East Water Stecon Utilities Co., Ltd. (EWS) , has started supplying water to support the operations of Bridge Data Centres III (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (BDC) . The company also plans to expand services to two additional Data Center customers by 2026. The total contract value under EWS over a 20-year period is estimated at up to THB 3.24 billion, reflecting strong confidence from the industrial sector in the Group’s water management capabilities, particularly among rapidly expanding digital industries and large-scale Data Center projects in the Eastern region, which require highly stable and continuous utility services 24 hours a day.

East Water stated that Thailand is now entering a full-scale digital economy era, especially within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which has been elevated as a regional hub for technology investment and Data Centers in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, Data Centers are among the industries promoted by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). “Water” is considered a critical utility for Data Center operations, particularly for server systems and water-cooling systems that require uninterrupted stability at all times. The East Water Group operates an interconnected water pipeline network covering the entire Eastern region, creating water security through effective management of water sources, reserve capacity, supply continuity, and industrial-grade water quality. This ensures uninterrupted water delivery to customers, even during drought conditions or periods of extreme weather variability, enabling the company to continuously support growing water demand.

East Water affirmed its readiness to fully support government policies aligned with investments in the digital economy and emerging industries flowing into Thailand. The company continues to work closely with government agencies to advance its mission of becoming a leader in future utility infrastructure, driving Thailand’s economy toward stable and sustainable growth.
