East Water, in collaboration with the Five-Province Community Forest Network, organized a supplementary forest planting activity under the project titled “Sustainable and Participatory Ecosystem Restoration of Watershed and Community Forest in Ban Krok Sakae.” The initiative aims to restore greenery and expand the community forest area in Khlong Takrao Subdistrict, Tha Takiap District, Chachoengsao Province. This effort reinforces East Water’s leadership in integrated water resource management across three key dimensions: economy, society, and environment. The focus is on fostering sustainable community forests from upstream to downstream, contributing to both community well-being and long-term environmental sustainability.
Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited (East Water), together with the Five-Province Community Forest Network, carried out the supplementary planting activity at Ban Krok Sakae Community Forest, Village No. 1, Khlong Takrao Subdistrict, Tha Takiap District, Chachoengsao. A total of 1,350 trees were planted in the community forest with the objectives of enriching the forest ecosystem and enhancing the landscape to support eco-tourism in the area. The initiative also aims to conserve and restore the eastern watershed forest and the interconnected ecosystems across the five provinces. Emphasis was placed on promoting community participation, engaging local stakeholders and partner organizations in forest restoration, and encouraging collective responsibility in preserving these vital upstream ecosystems.
