East Water goes forward with Complete Water Supply Services Project and responses to the continuously increasing water demand. Mr. Jirayut Rungsrithong, Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited or East Water, reveals that East Water goes forward with Complete Water Supply Services Project, including providing services on raw water, industrial water, water treatment, and recycle both inside and outside east area. Currently, there are construction of complete water supply services projects in many areas, such as the project on construction and management of industrial water production system to the Amata City Industrial Estate, Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province, transmitting the industrial water at the maximum average of 7 million cubic meter per year; the project on construction and management of industrial water production system to GULF power plant at Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province, with the scheduled completion of construction in 2021, transmitting the industrial water at the maximum average of 22 million cubic meter per year; the project on construction and management of water supply system and wastewater treatment in the area of U-Tapao International Airport, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, proving complete water services, including tap water production at the maximum average of 7.3 million cubic meter per year, waste water management at the maximum average of 5.84 million cubic meter per year and water recycling at the maximum average of 1.83 million cubic meter per year.
The project on construction and management of tap water production for Wangchan Valley for EECi, Wangchan District, Rayong Province, transmitting industrial water at the maximum average of 1.1 million cubic meter per year; project on construction and management of industrial water production system to Carabao Group Company Limited, Bangpakong District, Chachoengsao Province, transmitting industrial water at the maximum average of 1.46 million cubic meter per year; project on construction and management of industrial water production system to Microchip Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., transmitting to industrial water at the maximum average of 0.91 million cubic meter per year.
Apart from that East Water has been continuously seeking for business opportunity to provide service to the area outside east area too, for example project on construction and management of wastewater treatment system to Ratchaburi Glass Industry Company Limited, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province, with waste water treatment at the maximum average of 0.37 million cubic meter per year; project on construction and management of wastewater treatment system to Ayutthaya Glass Industry Company Limited, Uthai District, Ayutthaya Province, with waste water treatment at the maximum average of 1.1 million cubic meter per year.
In this regard, for the performance of 2020 East Water has total income of 4,204.30 million baht, reducing by 475.78 million baht or reducing by 10.17 percent as compared to 2019. Net profit is 776.43 million baht, reducing by 279.47 million baht or 26.47 percent. The income from raw water selling is 2,473.57 million baht and the income from tap water selling is 1,467.89 million baht.
However, TRIS RATING has affirmed the corporate rating at “A +” with a “stable” tendency, reflecting East Water's strong position, having a raw water pipeline network covering the Eastern Seaboard. Moreover, there is a increasing demand for water from the Eastern Economic Corridor. East Water also gets high profit margins and stable cash flow.

East Water (EASTW) arranged E-AGM and pay dividend of 0.40 baht/share
Mr.Veerasak Kositpaisal, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Jirayut Rungsrithong, Chief Executive Officer, together with the Board of Directors and managements of Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited or East Water (EASTW) attended the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the year 2021 via electronic media (E-Meeting) to prevent the risk of the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The shareholders' meeting approved the dividend payment for the year 2020 at the rate of 0.40 baht per share. There was an interim dividend payment on 18 September 2020 at the rate of 0.16 baht per share and the remaining dividend payment from the performance for the year 2020 at a rate of 0.24 baht per share, which is scheduled to pay to shareholders on Thursday, 21 May 2021. The company has provided information on the past performance and business trend of this year to shareholders. East Water is ready to go forward with the Complete Water Supply Services Project to build water security and stability to support the current and future Eastern Economic Corridor growth.
