East Water donates money to support the Constructed Wetlands Systems project to help treat wastewater in Nong Khla Market community, Chanthaburi Province
Mr. Jirayut Rungsrithong, President of Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited or East Water and the managements donated money to support the Constructed Wetlands Systems project for the Thai Industrial Estate and Strategic Partner Association; Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability, the Federation of Thai Industries and Map Ta Phut Plant Manager Club (MTP PMC) to help treat the wastewater in Nong Khla market community, Tha Mai District, Chanthaburi Province, having Mrs. Anchalee Chavanit, President of the Thai Industrial Estate and Strategic Partner Association; Ms. Somchai Wangwattanapanich, President of the Water and Environment for Sustainability Institute, the Federation of Thai Industries; and Mr. Wiroj Lertsak, Chairman of the Map Ta Phut Plant Manager Club as the recipient at the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand.
The Constructed Wetlands Systems Project treats about 800 cubic meters of wastewater from the Nong Khla market community, bringing benefits for communities in the upstream and industrial sectors. Apart from that people can also use the area as a recreational area.
