East Water joined the friendly tradition football match to enhance the cooperation with the agencies in the Eastern region
"East Water" joined the friendly traditional sports competition with the Irrigation Office Area 9, Royal Irrigation Department (RID), the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA), the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Thai Oil Public Company Limited, Bang Phra Municipality and Sub-district Administrative Organization, and media of Chonburi Province. All agencies were joined altogether in the football match to enhance the relationship among one another inserted with good deeds for society. The revenue was contributed to Somdet Phra Boromaratchathewi Hospital at Sriracha, Thai Red Cross Society.
Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited or East Water participated in traditional sport activities to strengthen the relationship between the Royal Irrigation Department and the water user agencies in the industrial and consumer sectors. In this year, there were the football match of 7 people, petanque, and tug of war with agencies in the Eastern region such as the Irrigation Office Area 9, Royal Irrigation Department, Provincial Waterworks Authority Region 1, Provincial Waterworks Authority, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Bang Pakong Power Plant, Thai Oil East Water Public Company Limited, Bang Phra Municipality and Sub-district Administrative Organization, and the media of Chonburi Province.
Mr. Jirayut Rungsrithong, CEO of East Water said about this activity, “East Water, as the business operator dealing with water resources, we realize the importance of water security for the Eastern region and strengthening good relations with government agencies, customers and the media. It will create good cooperation in the future because it is the combination of many agencies related to water use and water management in Chonburi Province. The revenue from this football match will be donated to Somdet Phra Boromaratchathewi Hospital at Sriracha, Thai Red Cross Society."
Traditional sports between the water user agencies and the Royal Irrigation Department was held for the second time and was scheduled to be held annually with alternating host. In the past year, East Water improved the football field of Bang Phra Reservoir in order to be a central stadium used in organizing traditional sporting events in the following years. In addition, all agencies donated money and medical equipment to the elderly rehabilitation center of Somdet Phra Boromaratchathewi Hospital at Sriracha, Thai Red Cross Society, Bang Phra Sub-district, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, as public benefits for the general public to use in the long term.
