East Water continues to operate the project of community water supply maintenance joined by vocational institutes in the eastern region to be the community with good quality of life in water

East Water continued joining with vocational institutes in the eastern region to operate the project of community water supply production and maintenance integrated with the Fix It Center project focusing on 9 target locations in Chonburi, Rayong and Trat areas in order to reduce the water shortage problem and improve the efficiency of the village water supply system.

Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited or East Water continues training program for controlling the production and maintenance of the community water supply system project to create water security for the local. This is the integration with the Fix It Center, Eastern Vocational Institute, focusing on transferring knowledge to personnel who supervise the community's water supply system in the eastern region in order to properly manage, control, and maintain the community water supply system. The water supply system can be efficiently used in producing tap water that meets standards and has long service life. The community water supply management system can be sustainable to reduce the problem of lack of liquidity of water supply management for the community.

Training project for controlling the production and maintenance of community water supply system has the goal to develop the village water supply system in 3 eastern provinces; Chonburi, Rayong and Trat, to be developed and efficient in the production of 9 water supply facilities, namely, Ban Map Tong Moo 10, Nong Lalok Sub-district, Ban Khai District, Rayong Province, supervised by Rayong Technical College, Nong Pla Lai Sub-district Municipality, Banglamung District, Chonburi Province, supervised by Pattaya Technical College, Nam Pen Sub-district Administrative Organization, Khao Cha Mao District, Rayong Province, supervised by Chanthaburi Technical College, Ban Nong Nok Eiang, Moo 6, Noen Sai Sub-district, Mueang District, Trat Province, supervised by Trat Technical College, Ban Noen Krabok, Moo 11, Tha Bunmi Sub-district, Ko Chan District, Chonburi Province, supervised by Chonburi Technical College, Soi Thueanwithi, Moo 5, Plu Ta Luang Sub-district, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, supervised by Sattahip Technical College, Ban Chak Mai Ruak, Moo 11, Nong Lalok Sub-district, Ban Khai District, Rayong Province, supervised by Map Ta Phut Technical College, Ban Cheong Noen Moo 5 Nong Lalok Sub-district, Ban Khai District, Rayong Province, supervised by Ban Khai Technical College and Moo 2 Tha Bunmi Sub-district, Ko Chan District, Chonburi Province, supervised by Chonburi Technical College. These communities will be guided for controlling the production of tap water properly from the institutions under the supervision of Eastern Vocational Institute.

The development of community water supply systems in the eastern region to be efficient is one of the important missions of East Water. In developing efficient village water supply systems, it was started by conducting the survey on the village water supply system data in the eastern region. It was found that many of them were unable to use effectively and did not meet the objectives affecting the quality of life of the community. From the cause of personnel lacking knowledge and understanding in managing the village water supply system, East Water has developed the maintenance project and training for the management of village water supply system in order to transfer knowledge in the year 2012-2015. There were lecturers being trained and succeeding in managing the village water supply system by adhering to the principles of community teaching coupled with practical work.

East Water focuses on the dissemination of knowledge on the management of the village water supply system to be more extensive and in principles. In 2016, East Water has cooperated with the Eastern Vocational Institute and the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority in developing the training program for the control of production and maintenance of the community water supply system to transfer knowledge to the management of village water supply systems for teachers and students of vocational colleges in the eastern region. This was for being disseminated and integrated with the Fix It Center project and the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education, by allowing the institutes under the supervision of Eastern Vocational Institute to provide academic knowledge and practical action for the community to continue building knowledge to various communities altogether.

In the future, training programs for controlling the production and maintenance of community water supply systems will benefit the community in the eastern region to be able to solve the problem of shortage of water for consumption to people with clean tap water and good quality from the care and maintenance of the water supply system to be ready for use at all times. This can increase the efficiency of community water supply system maintenance and community service to create sustainable water security in the region.
