East Water began exploring community water supply along the service area for helping improving and repairing until becoming the maintenance and training project on the village water supply system management in 2008 and ongoing projects. At earlier stage, the project would be to educate village committees and local government officials to maintain the village water supply system efficiently, sustainably and profitably for the communities. Until now, 19 villages had been maintained and trained in the village water supply management.

Khun Kanyanat Veerapan, Director of Corporate Communication Department, said, "The project is the great commitment of East Water to create sustainability to the communities in terms of access to clean water sources. Previously, we had continued to develop this project. However, the experience taught us that the village water supply system is diverse causing the management of village water supply system in some areas to suffer from the lack of expertise in using and maintaining the system including the management in revenue and expenditure. As a result, the village water supply system is not fully operated and some areas suffer the loss. As the existing knowledge is not enough, East Water joins with experienced and expertise people such as Metropolitan Waterworks and the Eastern Vocational Institutes through the Fixed It Center project by the Office of Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education, with the good readiness in terms of personnel and instruments by organizing the training programs on production control and maintenance of community water supply system in this time. This is an important step for people who have been trained in the maintenance and training of the existing village water supply system to be sustainable. "

East Water, as a water management business enterprise in Rayong, Chonburi and Chachoengsao, aimed to enhance the training program on production control and maintenance of community water supply system to strengthen the communities according to the government's public policy of Gen. Prayuth Chan-Ocha. It was one of the driving force of the country to be strong and stable.
