Water Grid – The first complete water transmission network in ASEAN
In order to response to water needs that is increasing ever year, East Water has invested more than 12,000 million baht to construct water transmission network which is 491.8 kilometers long, connecting almost all main water resources in eastern Thailand, i.e. Nong Pralai, Dokkrai, Klong Yai and Prasae reservoirs in Rayong, Nongkho and Bangphra reservoirs in Chonburi, as well as Bangpakong River in Chachoengsao into the only modern and complete Water Grid in the country. The Water Grid can transmit raw water to produce tap water for community’s consumption, travel business and industry supports. The servicing area covers 3 provinces giving the guarantee that water supply will not stop even one day.
Apart from commitment to continuous improvement in services and investment to respond to the need of water consumer, East Water also consider on controlling amount of water loss along the pipeline and the quality of raw water to meet the standard to ensure that the water consumer receives quality water and service. East Water provides satisfactory to the user by adopting SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) technology to control water supply from 16 water stations on Real Time basis.
