Life-long education is assisted as a basis of long-term change and development. By emphasizing education in both formal and informal system, as well as let people study in the way they prefer, here are examples of projects and activities we have done.

1. East Water's Sufficient Economy Learning Center Project For twenty year anniversary, the company demanded to build the unique monument and to show social responsibility. As a result, the company established East Water's Sufficient Economy Learning Center as a place for learning to live a sufficient life according to King Bhumipol's idea that he has given for already 30 years. The establishment has been done as a base for learning philosophy of sufficient economy and value-adding activities and reduce costs of farmer. The project was supported well by official agencies in Klong Kuen and communities surrounding the area.

The company cooperated with Office of the Non-formal and Informal Education in Chachoengsao, Office of the Non-formal and Informal Education in Amphoe Klong Khuen, and governmental organizations in Amphoe Klong Khuen to establish the administrative committee and operating sub-committee for East Water's Sufficiency Economy Learning Center. The company provided the land and finished the construction of the centre’s building in 2013. East Water's Sufficiency Economy Learning Center welcomed non-formal and informal education students for site visit in 2014. In addition the centre has earned 51,820 baht from the produce sold to Klong Khuen market and profited 26,720 baht for 2016.

2. Rayong Knowledge Park (RK Park) Rayong Knowledge Park was founded according to East Water's idea and determination to create a place for learning which has suitable environment for creativity, comfortable accessibility to services. It is for imposing love-reading routine, and researching for themselves. Being more than a library, it is called "living library. Inspired by TK Park located in Bangkok, an objective of the project is to provide more opportunity for youths and community in Rayong, in form of a living library, to get access to knowledgeable site and learn as learning is a fundamental thing to make Thai society a better place. This project was well cooperated with Rayong's Provincial Administrative Organization(PAO) which kindly provided land to build a living library, designated staffs to administrate it for achieving its purpose, and supported design and decoration financially. TK Park provided assistance in suggesting design and decoration of the building according to the concept of living library, helping set up the system to run the community's learning center, and supporting love-reading activities, learning, and media that is beneficial for running youths and community's learning center.

3. 3R Water Management Innovation Contest East Water cooperated with Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to initiate the project "3R Water Management Innovation Contest" which provides the youth in vocational colleges and university an opportunity to exploit their creativity and show their innovative skills to reduce, reuse and recycle water usage. The innovation created from the creativity of the youth who joined the project would be cumulatively used in the real industry and community.

**** Remark  The last activity in this project is 2013.

Throughout the past 23 years, Eastern Water Resources Development and Management Public Company Limited have collected experiences, skills, knowledge and expertise to develop the potential in our business continuously without forgetting to pay attention and take care of the community, society and environment at the same time. Our executives and all staffs are willing to improve quality of life in the community and society through Corporate social responsibility (CSR) project in order to achieve the vision of the company on the idea that “community development should base on sustainability.” so that the community can take care of itself. At the same time we have always listened and responded to community needs. Therefore, it is the power of creative sharing. Moreover, East Water shares its knowledge required for proceeding CSR project to the other organizations and invited them to participate in the project in order to create a larger network in the society. This is a creative method in which we continuously use our expertise and drive the economics, society and environment to grow strongly and sustainably.

To develop from 3R Innovation Competition, later in 2013 the company selected the Aeration Machine, awarded in 2010, innovated by Ubon Ratchathani Technical College as the 3R innovation model. The 4 machines have been installed at the cesspool at Chachoendsao Community Center 2-3/1 Tambon Lad Kwang, Amphoe Ban Pho, Chachoengsao (Population 660 houses. The cesspool sizes 150 x 20 x 2 meter helps treat the polluted water before being released to Bang Pakong River). The installation was completed in October 2013 and tested by Environmental Warrior/Water Detectives Group of Phuttirangsipibul School (Tambon Lad Kwang, Amphoe Ban Pho, Chachoengsao). The result was satisfactory. The companythus discussed with Environmental Community of Chachoengsao and Center for Water Quality Control and Testing of Rayong about plans to introduce to the operational areas the knowledge of Aeration Machine Innovation. The main target was the provincial technical colleges.

In 2014 Chachoengsao Technical College was selected as the first group. The Aeration Machine training, led by Ubon Ratchathani Technical College, was held for 2 days during June 25 – 26, 2014 at Chachoengsao Technical College. 8 participants were both teachers and students. After the training Chachoengsao Technical College developed 4 Aeration Machines and installed 2 machines at Klong Nakhon Nueng Khet, Nakhon Nueng Khet Old Market, Amphoe Mueang, Chachoengsao, and another 2 at the cesspoll of Community Housing Project 2. The installation has been completed in June 2015. As the training result was successful the company aimed to develop to Rayong areas and held the Aeration Machine training for 2 days during September 10 – 11, 2015 at Ban Khai Technical College. 12 participants were both teachers and students.
